Joining them will be Welsh rappers Goldie Lookin' Chain, VV Brown, Frank Turner, Blue Roses, and Peggy Sue.

The card of nightly DJ entertainment includes Disco Bloodbath DJs, N-Type, Balearic Brothers, Monsters At Work presenting The Psychedelic Sounds of Monsterism Island with We Are Your Friends, and Gregs Greats.

Comedy additions include Ed Byrne, Maxwell's Fullmooners, Craig Campbell, Jim Jeffries, Ian Stone, Carl Donnelly, Jason John Whitehead, Matt Reed, Tiernan Douieb, The Pros From Dover, Tim Fitzhigham, Glenn Wool, Jamie Kilstein, Matt Reed, Al Barrie and Early Edition with Marcus Brigstocke, Phill Jupitus, Andre Vincent, and Carrie Quinlan. This year also sees the 25th anniversary 'Spinal Tap', and Camp Bestival will be holding a special viewing of the film.

Camp Bestival happening at Lulworth Castle in Dorset, isn't all about the music, there's loads of fun for the kids too with '100 Free Things for Kids' to do, which will include CBeebies star Mr Tumble AKA Justin Fletcher.

Festival organiser Rob da Bank commented, "Roy Ayers is simply one of the funkiest men on earth and has made some of my favourite ever records. Florence and The Machine smashed Lulworth Castle apart last year and aside from trying to get off with Chuck Berry onstage she was one of the highlights so we've got her back! Blue Roses and Golden Silvers are colourful and kaleidoscopic new artists I’m loving and I can’t wait to shout along to Goldie Lookin' Chain."

".. I suppose the person I'm most excited about seeing at Camp Besti is Mr Tumble (non parents may have to google him, parents will have watched him most days of their parenthood!) and the 25th anniversary of Spinal Tap is well worth celebrating. Join us in the Big Top for a special viewing with guest speakers and tea and cakes!"

For the slightly older and more well-read crowd the 'Book Worm' stage will hosting rhapsodists and rhymers including performance poet Musa Okwonga, Poejazzi's Joshua Idehen, ventriloquist Chris Redmond, Aisle 16's John Osbourne, Homework's Chris Hicks, Slam poet John Berkavitch and word artist Inua Ellams, whilst the literary line-up addits Joe Dunthorne, and Josie Curran and her 'Organised Fun' Animal Games.

The festival which takes place from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th July is all about bringing back the British Holiday Camp... Bestival style! A place where Hi de Hi camping capers meet the spirit of early festivals and promise spacious campsites, family facilities, country fare, local foodstuffs and more.

The previous acts announced included P J Harvey performing her only UK solo show, Mercury Rev, Chic feat. Nile Rogers, Bon Iver, Candi Staton, Roots Manuva, dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip, The Cuban Brothers, Ebony Bones, Dub Pistols, Beardyman, Chase & Status, MC Rage & Plan B, Drums of Death, and a host of DJs including Erol Alkan, Rob da Bank, Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, DJ Yoda, Andy C & MC GQ, Aeroplane, High Contrast, DJ Derek, Gilles Peterson, Scratch Perverts, Trojan Sound System, Skream, Sombrero Sound System, and Fear of Theydon with many more also still to be announced.
