As part of the forestry commission's Forest Tour, Doves have announced one date at Delamere Forest, Linmere, Delamere, Cheshire on Sat 13th June 2009.

Doves
The woodland show will be a special home appearance for the band whose long-awaited 4th album 'Kingdom of Rust', recorded at their Cheshire studio, is released on Monday 6th April. This follows on from the band's critically acclaimed debut album, 'Lost Souls' (2000) and their subsequent No 1 albums 'The Last Broadcast' (2002) and 'Some Cities' (2005).

The concert will be supporting the Forestry Commission's valuable social and environmental programmes and is the first confirmed date as part of the venue's celebrated summer concert weekend.

The Forestry Commission is committed to taking woodlands to new audiences and making them relevant to people in new ways. The forest tour is self-sustaining, paying for itself, and providing valuable revenue to plough back into the woodland in a variety of environmental and social projects.

Tickets are priced at £27.50 and will be available from 9am on Friday 27th February, and eFestivals will have links for you to buy them then.
