Crosby Stills and Nash say on their official website (here) that they will be playing on the Saturday at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Crosby Stills And Nash are a folk rock/rock supergroup made up of David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash.
The British singer Graham Nash started with The Hollies in the 1960s, before joining the two American singers after they left The Byrds and Buffalo Springfield. Their appearance at this year's Festival has not been confirmed by Festival organisers.
They were occasionally joined by fourth member Neil Young (who also plays the Festival) and they became known for their intricate vocal harmonies and political activism, with hits such as 'Marrakesh Express' and 'Just A Song Before I Go'. Neil Young will be headlining the Saturday night at this year's Hard Rock Calling, which makes it unlikely he will be appearing with them.
Tickets for Glastonbury Festival held for five full days from Wednesday 24th until Sunday 28th June 2009 at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset have already sold out months before the event.
Although the full line-up for this year's Festival has not yet been announced, To see who has been confirmed, and who might be playing take a look at the eFestivals' Glastonbury 2009 rumours >>.
A further release of a limited number of cancelled tickets will go on sale from 9am on Sunday 5th April 2009, although in order to do so you must have registered beforehand to be eligible to buy a ticket. However, it's unlikely that they'll be a huge number of tickets available on that day. They will be priced at £175 (plus a booking fee of £5).
