Rhythm Festival have added more acts including Terry Reid and his all star band to this year's line-up.

Joining the '60s icon will be original Thin Lizzy guitarist Eric Bell making a rare UK appearance, young blues guitarist Oli Brown, veteran guitar hero Tony (T.S.) McPhee and Groundhogs, seminal reggae band Reggae Regulars, plus folk/world musicians Oi Va Voi.

Plus more acts including Bill Posters Will Be Band, The Sex Patels, Ducks Deluxe, The Killer B's, The Dukes Jetty, Imperial Leisure, Skaville UK, Archie Brown and the Young Bucks, and The Silver Brazilians.

The fourth Rhythm Festival takes place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August at Twinwood Arena, Clapham, in Bedfordshire.

Acts confirmed for this year include headliners The Proclaimers (Friday), with Alabama 3 (Saturday), and James Hunter (Sunday). Plus other acts on Friday Glenn Tilbrook & The Fluffers, Gandalf Murphy & The Slambovian Circus of Dreams, and Billy Jenkins Blues Collective. Saturday's line-up includes The Blow Monkeys, The Beat, Jacqui McShee's Pentangle, Adrian Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds, and The Demon Barbers. Sunday has performances from Alvin Youngblood Hart, Strawbs, and Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash. For the line-up details, and stage splits as available please click here.

Rhythm Festival aims to be different from other outdoor music festivals, by being smaller (a capacity of under 5,000), friendlier and geared towards the festival goer. There's three bars sell a wide range of wines, beers and lagers, with around 20 real ales and natural ciders available.

Adult (17+) weekend tickets are priced at £82.50 until the end of this month, with one child free with every adult ticket-buyer; additional child tickets are £30 each, children aged 5 and under can go for free. Camping is from £25 per tent, £30 per campervan or caravan.
