Super Furry Animals and Teenage Fanclub top Ben & Jerry's Sundae

Super Furry Animals, and Teenage Fanclub, are to headline the Saturday of Ben & Jerry's Sundae which is now in its fifth year and returns to London's Clapham Common over the weekend of Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July 2009.

Super Furry Animals, and Teenage Fanclub, will be headlining on Saturday 25th July with support from King Creosote, alongside the previously announced I am Kloot, King Creosote, Marina and the Diamonds, Tommy Reilly, and Telegraphs.

Cian Ciaran of Super Furry Animals said, "We're looking forward to playing sweet songs from our new album Dark Days/Light Years to the masses at Ben and Jerry's festival Sundae on The Common!"

Sunday's headliners are already confirmed as The Human League, with support from The Futureheads, Camera Obscura, Red Light Company, The Answering Machine, and The Brute Chorus.

Festival goers can enjoy a mix of free Ben & Jerry's ice cream including new flavours Fairtrade flavour, Chocolate Macadamia, plus fairground attractions and social activism.

Ben & Jerry's Sundae on the Common will continue to be a Climate Neutral festival. This year Ben & Jerry's will be supporting a biomass programme in Karnataka, India. The project run by My Climate prevents the uncontrolled burning of agricultural waste turning it into heat and energy instead.
