Glastonbury Festival has officially confirmed that Hawaiian singer-songwriter Jack Johnson will be appearing at this year's Festival.
Following the release of his new album, Johnson will embark on his first world tour since 2008, which will kick off in Europe beginning June 16th. The tour will be a mix of headline shows at European cities including Cardiff Arena (Tuesday 29th June) and London's O2 Arena (Wednesday 30th June) and festival appearances including Eden Sessions, Southside Festival, Hurricane Festival, Rock Werchter, and Roskilde.
Johnson joins other confirmed acts Friday headliners U2, as well as early Emerging Talent winners My Luminaries, and The John E Vistic Experience. Tickets have sold out for this year's Glastonbury Festival which runs for five full days from Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th June 2010 across a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. There will be no more tickets on sale until sometime early in 2010.
