The Great Escape Festival, which happens in multiple venues around Brighton from Thursday 13th until Saturday 15th May 2010 have announced another raft of acts.

Chew Lips
Newly confirmed are Chew Lips, Dead Confederate, Japanese Voyeurs, Dam Mantle, Little Death, Violent Soho, Anna Calvi, Eskimo Joe, Chateau Marmont, Pony Pony Run Run, Think About Life, Basia Bulat, Gringo Star, Paul Dempsey, John Smith, Kid Bombardos, Ghost Bees, Lets Go To War, Young Rival, The Dutchess & The Duke, and Philadelphia Grand Jury.

They join the previously confirmed acts which include Delphic, Chase & Status, Marina And The Diamonds, Ellie Goulding, and many more. For the full list of confirmed acts to date, please see here.


The Great Escape annually features hundreds of international and UK pop, cutting edge, hip hop, electronic, and rock acts showcased at venues all within a close walk from each other with each venue equipped to an international showcase standard.

As well as the live music, there's also a number of "Parkinson" style interviews with luminaries from the world of Music and Media, to show the way in which success is achieved, as well as educational panels, workshops and networking sessions confirmed.

Tickets

Early bird weekend tickets are on sale, priced at £45, as well as Day Tickets priced at £22.50 for the Thursday, £27.50 for the Friday, while Saturday tickets will be £30.00.

The Great Escape has also set aside a good allocation of space for TGE wristband holders at the Chase and Status show. However, as with all Great Escape gigs, entry to it is subject to capacity and so if you're a massive fan you'll be pleased to hear that The Great Escape has also put specific Chase and Status tickets on sale, which will guarantee you access to the show. If you've already bought your TGE wristband you can purchase a single Chase & Status gig ticket for £15. And if not you can buy a combined ticket which includes a TGE 3 day festival wristband as well as guaranteed access to the Chase and Status show for £60.
