Newton Faulkner and Seasick Steve for Boardmasters

Friday co-headliners Newton Faulkner, and Seasick Steve will join the previously announced Leftfield at this summer's Relentless Boardmasters which takes place over five days this year from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th August at a cliff-top location overlooking Watergate Bay, in Cornwall.

The Cornwall bash has announced that the headliners for Friday 6th August will be Brit award nominated American blues man Seasick Steve and the chart topping, million selling, acoustic troubadour Newton Faulkner.

Seasick Steve who played a Relentless Beach Session back in 2007. Since then he has become a household name, sold-out major shows including a Royal Albert Hall date, appeared at festivals from Glastonbury to Latitude, became the oldest Brit Award nominee in history and his most recent album 'Man From Another Time' entered the charts at #4, making it his highest charting release to date.

The other joint headliner Newton Faulkner the one man band brings his crowd pleasers to the Newquay cliff top to close proceedings on the Friday. Newton said about sharing his headline status with Seasick Steve, "I can't wait to do Boardmasters with Seasick Steve, the man is a legend!"

The Relentless Boardmasters is held on three sites across Newquay offering action sports including surf, skate, bmx, plus daily live music acts and the music festival.

This year for the first time there will be official festival camping on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th August situated within throwing distance of the Watergate Bay site.

Ticket are priced as follows:
An adult weekend ticket for both days is priced at £60, or £80 with camping. An adult day tickets for Friday or Saturday is priced at ££35.
An adult charger ticket (for all Beach sessions and both days of the festival) is priced at £95). Tickets will be available from 9am on 12th March 2010.

The event will commence Wednesday 4th August at the Fistral Site with the opening party and the first Beach Session. The trade village will not be open that day. The trade village including the Beach Bar will open Thursday 5th August until Sunday 8th August.

Fistral will host the surf, skate and BMX competitions on the beach front topped off with live music every night in the Beach Bar. In addition to the cliff tops of Watergate Bay hosting the music festival.
