Headliners Groove Armada lead the latest acts to be confirmed for The Great Escape Festival, which happens in multiple venues around Brighton from Thursday 13th until Saturday 15th May 2010.

Groove Armada, will be showcasing a career-spanning set that will take in their latest album, 'Black Light', released last week. They lead the latest acts to be confirmed who are I Blame Coco, Egyptian Hip Hop, Detroit Social Club, Daisy Dares You, Blood Red Shoes, The Slits, The Fiery Furnaces, Everything Everything, Surfer Blood, General Fiasco, Theophilus London, Frankie And The Heartstrings, Alessi's Ark, Ganglians, The Pack A.D, Warpaint, Art Vs Science, The Agitator, Citadels, Gold Panda, Goldhawks, Trembling Bells, Here We Go Magic, Dan Smith, Vuk, Frontier Ruckus, and The Rural Alberta Advantage.

Plus there will be sets from The Crookes, Othello Woolf, Polly Mackey and The Pleasure Principle, For Ramona, Rich Aucoin, Rubber Kiss Goodbye, Ruby Jean & The Thoughtful Bees, Sophie Madeleine, The Chakras, Wax Fang, Artisan Guns, Lights Go Blue, Manna, MAY 68, An Emerald City, and Ingrid Olava.

They join the previously confirmed acts including Wild Beasts, Codeine Velvet Club, Stornoway, Band Of Skulls, Delphic, Chase & Status, Broken Social Scene, Marina And The Diamonds, Ellie Goulding, Crystal Fighters, Slow Club, Cold Cave, Esben And The Witch, Hurts, Japandroids, Real Estate, Chew Lips, Dead Confederate, and Japanese Voyeur. The Great Escape annually features hundreds of international and UK pop, cutting edge, hip hop, electronic, and rock acts showcased at venues all within a close walk from each other with each venue equipped to an international showcase standard.

Early Bird tickets are priced at £45 and are available until this coming Friday, and single day tickets are also on sale, Thursday only tickets are priced at £22.50, Friday only tickets are priced at £27.50, and Saturday only tickets are priced at £30.

The Great Escape has also set aside a good allocation of space for TGE wristband holders at the Chase and Status show. However, as with all Great Escape gigs, entry to it is subject to capacity and so if you're a massive fan you'll be pleased to hear that The Great Escape has also put specific Chase and Status tickets on sale, which will guarantee you access to the show. If you've already bought your TGE wristband you can purchase a single Chase & Status gig ticket for £15. And if not you can buy a combined ticket which includes a TGE 3 day festival wristband as well as guaranteed access to the Chase and Status show for £60.
