and offer unsigned acoustic acts a chance to play the festival

British Sea Power, Peyoti for President, and Stornoway are amongst the latest swathe of new additions annouced for this summer's Beautiful Days which takes place at Escot Park, near Fairmile, Devon from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd August 2010.

The latest additions to the line-up are British Sea Power, Peyoti for President, Stornoway, The Popes, The Fisherman's Friends, Thomas White, Nick Harper, Duke Special, Babylon Circus, Lupen Crook, Adam F, Sub Focus, Stereo MC's (DJ Set), and Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs.

They join headliners James, The Wailers and Levellers plus Newton Faulkner, Fairport Acoustic Convention, Billy Bragg, Bellowhead, New Model Army, Easy Star All-Stars, Show of Hands, African Head Charge, The Slackers, The Alarm, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, The Aggrolites, Krafty Kuts, Citizen Fish, Dervish, Wilko Johnson, John Cooper Clarke, Shooglenifty, John Otway Big Band, The Destroyers, 3 Daft Monkeys, Uiscedwr, Tankus The Henge and Ian King.

There are still many more to be confirmed across the stages plus DJ's and comedians in The Little Big Top and a brand new stage to be announced soon. This year's theme has been announced with the festival embracing the Chinese Year of the Tiger, with the theme for the Sunday being Stripes.

Beautiful Days are also offering bands a chance to win a slot in the Big Top at Beautiful Days 2010! They have teamed up with Acoustic Magazine to run a competition for a new and unsigned act to play at the festival this year plus the winner will also receive a Tascam portable recording studio, a DPA 4099 microphone and a Breedlove guitar.

Beautiful Days' site art team are going to be creating a giant mosaic this year featuring photographs from past festivals and are looking for photos. If you want to be included please send your photos to info@beautifuldays.org with 'MOSAIC' in the subject line.

Festival organisers Levellers start their UK tour tonight in Southampton (which has sold out) with support from The Last Republic on all dates. They will also be playing in Brecon, Tunbridge Wells, Crewe, Cambridge, Bath, Holmfirth (sold out), Leamington Spa, Wolverhampton and Oxford.

The tickets sell out to this popular old-style festival put together by the Levellers.An adult weekend camping ticket will be priced £100, child (10 to under 16 years of age) weekend camping tickets are £60, children aged 5 to under 10's weekend camping tickets are £30 and under 5's weekend camping tickets are £5. A limited number of campervan passes are still available at £35 but they are close to selling out. Car routing/parking passes are £15. There will be no day tickets available.

Tickets entitle the holder to camp on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. The festival will once again be offering free tickets for carers, disabled/flat camping and parking - all of which must be booked in advance. For information about disabled access please email info@beautifuldays.org with 'ACCESS' in the subject line. The festival is striving to be as accessible as possible. The festival which is licensed for 12,000 will feature music across five stages, and street theatre, as well as site art and sculpture, lots of children's activities a huge children's area in the centre of the festival, theatre, comedy, family camping, camping facilities, licensed bars from local company Otter Brewery, world food, craft stalls, fancy dress, a 'village shop' on site, and more. There is plenty of family camping close to the car parks.
