final acts announced for The Great Escape

The Great Escape Festival has announced the last acts to be added to the already extensive 300+ live acts performing at over 30 venues in Brighton from Thursday 13th until Saturday 15th May 2010.

The latest acts to join the bill are Angus & Julia Stone, Cornershop, Tinie Tempah, Rolo Tomassi, The Joy Formidable, Pulled Apart By Horses, The Invisible, Alex Metric, Feldberg, Silver Columns, and Eli 'Paperboy' Reed and the True Loves.

They join the previously confirmed acts including headliners Groove Armada plus Wild Beasts, Codeine Velvet Club, Stornoway, Band Of Skulls, Delphic, Chase & Status, Broken Social Scene, Marina And The Diamonds, Ellie Goulding, Crystal Fighters, Slow Club, Cold Cave, Esben And The Witch, Hurts, Japandroids, Real Estate, Chew Lips, Dead Confederate, and Japanese Voyeur. The Great Escape annually features hundreds of international and UK pop, cutting edge, hip hop, electronic, and rock acts showcased at venues all within a close walk from each other with each venue equipped to an international showcase standard.

The Great Escape has also announced details of a new ticket option and a Live Texting Service. The 3-Day Priority Festival Pass tickets are available now for £90 (to buy click here) and allows priority access to all gig venues over the three days of the Festival. The Great Escape Live Texting Service offers those who subscribe to the service on-the-go updates on secret gig locations, capacity information for sold out gigs and line-up alterations and additions.

Tickets are priced at £55 and are available until this coming Friday, and single day tickets are also on sale, Thursday only tickets are priced at £22.50, Friday only tickets are priced at £27.50, and Saturday only tickets are priced at £30.

The Great Escape has also set aside a good allocation of space for TGE wristband holders at the Chase and Status show. However, as with all Great Escape gigs, entry to it is subject to capacity and so if you're a massive fan you'll be pleased to hear that The Great Escape has also put specific Chase and Status tickets on sale, which will guarantee you access to the show. If you've already bought your TGE wristband you can purchase a single Chase & Status gig ticket for £15. And if not you can buy a combined ticket which includes a TGE 3 day festival wristband as well as guaranteed access to the Chase and Status show for £60.
