Scouting For Girls have announced a woodland date for this summer.

Scouting For Girls
Their show will be the sixth and final concert to be announced as part of the Forestry Commission's annual Live Music programme taking place in the region at Thetford Forest, Suffolk. The forest will also see performances this summer from Keane, Simply Red, Doves, The Saturdays, and Katie Melua.

Fronted by the exuberant showman Roy Stride, Scouting For Girls eponymous No 1 debut album generated a clutch of infectious hits including 'She's So Lovely', 'Heartbeat', 'It's Not About You' and 'Elvis Ain't Dead', all becoming regular fixtures on radio playlists across the country. This Easter the band hit the top spot in the singles chart with 'This Ain't A Love Song' from their latest album 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV', released this month and promising more insatiably irresistible pop anthems.

Scouting For Girls plus support will be performing at High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Near Brandon, Suffolk on Thursday 8th July. Tickets will be priced at £26.50, and will be available from 9.00am on Thursday 29th April, and eFestivals will have links for you to buy them then.

The Forestry Commission is committed to taking woodlands to new audiences, and making them relevant to people in new ways. The forest tour is self-sustaining, paying for itself, and providing valuable revenue to plough back into the woodland in a variety of environmental and social projects.
