Tricky, and Air lead the latest acts to be announced for the Virgin Media Union Arena at the twin V Festivals.
Joining them on the line-up are Mark Lanegan, Frightened Rabbit, Paul Heaton, Cherry Ghost, Matt & Kim, Rox, Eli Paperboy Reed, Sarah Blasko, Lissie, Eliza Doolittle, The Parlotones, Kirsty Almeida, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Detroit Social Club, Alex Gardner, Jack McManus, Chew Lips, Joe Brooks, The High Wire, Charli XCX, White Belt Yellow Tag, and Rachel Furner.
V Festival Director Bob Angus commented, "The Virgin Media Union stage is such a great opportunity to showcase the very best in freshly squeezed talent, alongside some musical greats. Some new acts who have played this stage have historically gone on to become big names so this could be a great chance for music lovers to discover the next big thing. Fans should keep listening for future announcements from us as we've still got a few more acts set to play!"
The twin-sited V Festival takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saturday 21st and 22nd August 2010 this year.
Kings of Leon will headline Chelmsford on the Saturday and Stafford on the Sunday, and Kasabian will headline Staffordshire on the Saturday, and Chelmsford on the Sunday. Also confirmed as playing are Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy, David Guetta, The Kooks, Paul Weller, Paolo Nutini, Florence And The Machine, Pet Shop Boys, Cheryl Cole, Madness, Editors, White Lies, Mika, Groove Armada, The Courteeners, The Charlatans, The Temper Trap, Amy Macdonald, Goldfrapp, and more.

Tickets have sold out, they were priced at £165 for a weekend pass with camping, £140 for a weekend pass without camping, and £78.50 for a day ticket.
