Beautful Days 2011 ticket date announced

Tickets will go on sale on Friday 1st October for next year's Beautiful Days, which takes place at Escot Park, near Fairmile, Devon from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August 2011.

The tickets sell out to this popular festival, so don't hang about! Put together by the Levellers, Beautiful Days is an old-style festival featuring quality acts old and new - although no acts are confirmed and won't be for a while, you can be sure that the Levellers will perform.

Festival organisers are holding all prices for this the ninth year of the festival until 1st January 2011 when tickets will then go up in price (thanks in part to the raise in VAT next year). Early bird tickets will therefore be priced as follows - an adult weekend camping ticket will be priced £100, child (10 to under 16 years of age) weekend camping tickets are £60, children aged 5 to under 10's weekend camping tickets are £30 and under 5's weekend camping tickets are £5. Campervan passes are £35 and car routing/parking passes are £15. On the Fiddle Members will be entitled to a £5 discount on adult weekend tickets (2 per member) from 01 October for a limited period. There will be no day tickets available.

Tickets entitle the holder to camp on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. The festival will once again be offering free tickets for carers, disabled/flat camping and parking - all of which must be booked in advance. The line-up for Beautiful Days 2011 will not be announced until the new year but organisers are already in talks with bands.

The festival which is licensed for 13,500 will feature music across five stages, and street theatre, as well as site art and sculpture, lots of children's activities a huge children's area in the centre of the festival, theatre, comedy, family camping, camping facilities, licensed bars from local company Otter Brewery, world food, craft stalls, fancy dress, a 'village shop' on site, and more. There is plenty of family camping close to the car parks.

In other news Levellers singer-songwriter Mark Chadwick's new solo studio album 'All the Pieces' is out now! Produced by Sean Lakeman, Mark is joined on the album by musicians including Ben Nicholls, Toby May, Kathryn Roberts, Seth Lakeman and Dan Donnelly. Mark will be touring the UK in October celebrating the release of his album with a live band featuring Sean Lakeman, Ben Nicholls, Toby May and Dan Donnelly. The tour starts on 6th October and takes in 10 cities around the UK - Exeter, London, Southampton, Cardiff, Norwich, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Manchester & Nottingham.
