Portishead to curate new I'll Be Your Mirror Festival

Portishead are expected to curate a new sister event to All Tomorrows Parties called I'll Be Your Mirror held in London next July.

The new event which ATP boss Barry Hogan mentioned to eFestivals about in a recent interview, (here) is the first of a series of new events without the holiday camp.

Hogan explained, "We're starting a new series called 'I'll Be Your Mirror' which is a sister event to ATP, and the reason for calling it that, is when the Velvets put out 'All Tomorrows Parties', the B-side of that was 'I'll Be Your Mirror', it's basically ATP without the holiday camps, and it's got the curator and stuff. We're starting that series next year in London."

All Tomorrow's Parties will collaborate with Portishead to curate the inaugural I'll Be Your Mirror at Alexandra Palace, London on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July 2011.

There are no other acts confirmed yet for 2011 other than the curators Portishead, eFestivals will publish more information once we have it.

Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday, 26th November, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

There is also another I'll Be Your Mirror being held in Tokyo, Japan in February.
