tickets on sale for Electric Picnic 2011

Early bird tickets go on sale from 9am today for Ireland's Electric Picnic.

Early bird tickets are priced at 199 euros for an adult weekend ticket. An installment scheme is available for early birds for the first time with an initial payment of 67 euros payable from today, a second installment of 66 euros will be due on 31st January and a third installment of 66 euros due on 31st March – one week after 2011 festival is announced.

Electric Picnic returns for its eighth year from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September at Stradbally Hall Estate, Co Laois - less than an hour from Dublin.

Ireland's complete music and arts festival offers an array of fine music, theatre, comedy, holistic health and art. Musically it's a more eclectic mix of artists than the other Irish mainstream events.

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2011 first acts announced fourth week in March 2011. As well as loads of comedy, spoken world, a range of stages, lots of site art and many areas to explore with plenty of catering options and all the normal facilities you'd expect at a festival, and an an emphasis on eco-friendly initiatives.
