Kings of Leon are the second headlining act to be announced for the Netherlands' Pinkpop Festival.

Kings of Leon will headline Pinkpop on 'Pentecost' Sunday, with Coldplay previously announced to headline the day before. Kings of Leon have announced that their appearance at Pinkpop 2011 will be their "Their biggest Dutch show ever."

Pinkpop Festival is an annual rock festival held in the city of Landgraaf, 134 miles from Amsterdam, near the city of Heerlen and situated in the most South bound province of Limburg, Netherlands. It is held annually on the Whitsun weekend (Pinksteren in Dutch, hence the name), the 42nd edition will be held from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th June 2011.

The festival has a capacity of 60,000 and three days of music on three stages. Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed and tickets are not yet on sale.
