first acts announced for Wickham Festival 2011

Bellowhead, and Kate Rusby are amongst the first acts to be announced for next summer's Wickham Festival.

The first acts have been unveiled for the Wickham Festival (formerly known as the Eastleigh Festival) and are Bellowhead, Kate Rusby, Peatbog Faeries, Roy Bailey & Tony Benn, Martin Simpson, The Men They Couldn't Hang, The Spooky Men's Chorale, Kan, and The Shee.

The festival returns to the Hampshire village of Wickham, in Hampshire just east of Eastleigh and just north of Fareham.

This four-day event happens from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th August 2011 and features live music and entertainment for all ages with camping. They'll be two performance stages plus a sessions bar, street theatre and dance displays, and lots of fun for kids.

Early bird adult £90, (full price £120)
Under-16 £45
Under-10s Free.

Camping Tickets:

Early bird £20 per tent or caravan for the whole weekend (full price £25).

Day Tickets:

Day Tickets will also be available, with under 16s day tickets are half price, and under-10s are free.

Other attractions for festival goers include The Groovy Movie Solar-Powered Cinema, Hand To Mouth Theatre Company, storytelling, Ticklish Allsorts, children's entertainers, unsigned bands stage, Punch & Judy, dance displays, healing area, campsite 'Posh Wash' showers, craft fayre, exotic foods fayre, and real ale bars.
