Suede lead the first acts to be announced for Spain's SOS 4.8 Music Festival.
SOS 4.8 Music Festival takes place across May bank holiday weekend, from Friday 6th and Saturday 7th May 2011. SOS 4.8 is a 20,000 capacity urban festival that takes place in city of Murcia, just 40 minutes drive from La Manga,in South East Spain.
A two day pass is priced at 45 Euros (accommodation not included), with Beach camping (incl. Transfer) from 91 Euros per person or City camping (10 min walk to the site) 95 Euros. To buy tickets, click here.
As in previous editions, the festival will also offer a space for Contemporary Art Exhibitions, Conferences and Workshops. Under the names 'Art' and 'Voices', this year the sections will look at 'Dance Culture'. Contemporary artists will explore the relationship between music, sex, drugs, night life, money, beauty and youth through their work. In a conference, Jeremy Gilbert and Ewan Pearson, authors of 'Dance, Music, Culture and the Politics of Sound', will analyse the basic elements of Dance Culture, its derivations and current state.
