Frightened Rabbit join Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip as headliners at this year's 2000trees festival.

Scottish indie rockers Frightened Rabbit will headline the Saturday of 2000trees festival, with Islet, Ellen and the Escapades, and Straight Lines also confirmed for the main stage.

Devil Sold His Soul, Talons, Exit Ten, and The James Cleaver Quintet have been lined up for The Cave (new second stage), while Dizraeli and the Small Gods, Stringerbessant, Sound Of Rum, and Stagecoach will perform in the Leaf Lounge.

This family-friendly festival raises awareness of green issues and aims to be an ethical alternative to the more mainstream music events. There is a wide selection of music at the festival including something for every taste - featuring rock, metal and indie to folk, pop, DJs, and the downright strange.

Organiser Andy Rea said, "Every band we’ve booked, we have seen live, so we’re confident it is our biggest and best line-up ever, bringing together some of the very best new and underground British music. “We are expecting tickets to sell out even earlier than last year’'s record in May."

2000trees Festival returns for a fifth year on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th July at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, with a an early entry evening happening on Thursday 14th.

These acts join the previously announced Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip who will headline Friday, with Los Campesinos!, Imperial Leisure, And So I Watch You From Afar, Amplifier, Your Demise, Malefice, Kong, The Travelling Band, Dave McPherson (INME), Tall Ships, Jim Lockey & The Solemn Sun, Maybeshewill, Kill It Kid, Crazy Arm, and O.S.T. More than 80 live acts will entertain thousands of music fans for two days of music on four stages, plus comedy, DJs, headphone disco, quality and value food & drink, and a trader village.

A weekend ticket is priced at £59, and a joint ticket with their sister festival 'Y-Not' in Derbyshire is priced at £100. Children aged 0 to 10 years old can go free but require a ticketand children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Early Entry tickets for Thursday are priced at £12.
