Leftfield have been announced as Saturday night headliners on the Beat-Herder stage, and lead the latest acts to be announced for this year's Beatherder Festival.

Leftfield's Head Honcho Neil Barnes says "I am very happy to be playing at Beat Herder this year. Feels like I am coming home! It is a great honour to be on the same bill as Simian Mobile Disco and Andrew Weatherall amongst all the other great acts. Can't Wait!"

The latest additions to the line-up also include Dreadzone, The Selecter, Neville Staple, Grinny Grandad, Doorly, Krysko, Retro/Grade, Will Law/Seamless, DJ Greg Wilson, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, James Holroyd, Sicknote, Karl Roscoe, Steve Cobby & Pork (Fila Brazillia), Mik Artistik's Ego Trip, Rusty Staples, Paul Thornton & Chris Holt, Sean P, and Underground Roots featuring Bongo chilli and Danman.

The fancy dress themes have been announced too. Friday is Flower Power day, and Saturday night is Everything begins with an E!

The first act confirmed for Beat-Herder are Simian Mobile Disco Live, We Have Band, Dub Pistols Live, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (T.E.E.D), The Lancashire Hot Pots, Lazy Habits, The Correspondents, Mr Scruff, Mylo, Plump Djs, Riva Starr, Boy 8 Bit, Justin Robertson, Andrew Weatherall, Jon Carter, Utah Saints, Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show, Drums Of Death, A Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Reverend Sound System, The Shit Robot Show (Live), Mooqee (Bombstrikes), Toni Jarvis (Toolroom), Captain Hotknives, Marc Roberts, The Bar Steward Sons Of Val Doonican, Eddie Earthquake & The Tremors, Covered In Cool, and more. The three day Beatherder festival takes place in Gisburn, in Lancashire, with the dates for this the fifth year confirmed as Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd July.
Now in it's fifth year the back-to-basics festival boasts zero official sponsorship, cheap local food and booze, weird and wonderful art installations, and breath taking views set in sleepy Lancashire deep in the heart of the Ribble Valley.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £85, children under 13 years of age need a child ticket priced at £15. Live in vehicle passes are priced at £15. A car parking pass is priced at £5. To buy tickets, click here.
