Alan Carr & Never Mind The Buzzcocks join the Latitude line-up

Alan Carr, and Never Mind The Buzzcocks lead a wave of new additions to Latitude Festival Comedy Arena, with more Theatre, Literary and Poetry also announced to appear over the weekend of Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th July 2011 at Henham Park Estate, Suffolk.

Joining them and bringing the laughs to the Comedy Arena are Angelos Epithemiou, David O'Doherty, Mark Watson, David Schneider, Phil Nichol, Charlie Baker, Chris Ramsey, Frisky & Mannish, Jonny Sweet, Popcorn Comedy, Cardinal Burns, Sara Pascoe, Shirley & Shirley, Tiffany Stevenson, The Unexpected Items, The Feral Pigeons, and Max and Ivan.

New Theatre additions announced today are The Gate, Trigger and NTS, Shlomo, The Pleasance, Theatre503, and Tim Crouch.

There a host of new names for the Literary Arena with John Burnside, Esther Freud, Andrew Smith, Danny Dorling, Kim Newman, Louise Wener, Stuart Maconie, Simone Felice, Bryan Talbot, William Goldsmith, Julian Hanshaw, Nick Hayes, Josie Curran, and Andrew Miller all confirmed to appear.

The poetry line-up now includes Dizraeli and the Small Gods, John Burnside, Tim Turnbull, Rachel Pantechnicon, The Captain's Tower, Chris Redmond, Hannah Silva, Elvis McGonagall, Salena Godden, Nathan Penlington, Michelle Madsen, Adam O'Riordan, Sam Riviere, Hannah Walker, John Berkavitch, John Osborne, Simon Mole, Brigitte Aphrodite, Sabrina Mahfouz , Siddhartha Bose, and Intensi T & Soldier-A.

Reverend Billy & The Stop Shopping Gospel Choir have been announced for the Film & Music Arena, and in Pandora's Playground will be the Modern Toss Activity Centre, Dance East, Disco Shed, and Jenny Edbrooke.

These latest names join a music line-up that includes The National, Suede, and Paolo Nutini as the main headliners this year. More acts are still to be announced for six stages dedicated to showcasing an eclectic line-up of established bands and budding new acts, with a stage nestled in a clearing in the woods, and another beside a lake.

Weekend tickets are priced at £170 and £5 for children aged 5 - 12 years, day tickets are priced at £70 for adults, and £5 years for children (5-12), and a campervan Pass is priced at £30. Children aged under 5 are eligible for free tickets for Latitude Festival 2011 when accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
