The Killers to headline Hard Rock Calling

The Killers have just been announced as the Friday headliner for confirmed for Hyde Park's Hard Rock Calling.

The Killers have now reunited to begin writing a new record, and will celebrate with a Hyde Park show. Says The Killers’ Ronnie Vannucci of the Hyde Park show, "It's been too long, friends... Feels like forever since we've seen each other and now it's time we pay a visit. Have to get the machine oiled and ready to make this kinda thing happen more often. Feeling creative, let's do this."

"The Killers rocked the stage at Hard Rock Calling 2009," said Hamish Dodds, President and CEO, Hard Rock International. "And we’re extremely excited to have them back this year for an encore performance."

Tickets for the Friday show will go on sale on Thursday 21st April at 9am, priced at £49.50. We'll have links to buy when on sale.

Bon Jovi are confirmed as the Saturday night headliner with Rod Stewart confirmed for Sunday night, and Stevie Nicks joining Rod on that day. For the latest line-up details as available please click here.

Hard Rock Calling is an established London open air music event which showcases well known international acts, and a few legends over three days, and has a genuine festival feel to it.

The dates for the three days of Hard Rock Calling 2011 are from Friday 24th until Sunday 26th June with gates expected to open at 1pm, the music starting at 3pm, and ending at approximately 10:30pm on all three days.
