Tinariwen, Badly Drawn Boy, and Billy Bragg have been confirmed as headliners for the sixth Moseley Folk Festival which takes place at Moseley Park, Birmingham from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September.
Headlining on Friday will be Badly Drawn Boy. A decade since the release of his Mercury-winning, seminal debut 'The Hour of the Bewilderbeast' and with a vast back catalogue to choose from, it will be a memorable start to the festival weekend.
Other acts confirmed for Friday are Gruff Rhys, Villagers, Crystal Fighters, 9 Bach, Vijay Kishore, Boat To Row, Malpas, Dreaming Spires, The Mariner's Children, and Rebecca Hollweg.
Headlining on Sunday will be Billy Bragg. With politically charged anthems such as 'A New England' he will bring the 2011 Moseley Folk Festival to an energetic close.
Other acts for Sunday include , Stornoway, Eliza Carthy Band, Scott Matthews, Jim Moray, The Old Dance School, Sam Lee, Bellevue Rendezvous, Calan, The Carrivick Sisters, Cut a Shine, David Campbell, Skinny Lister, Fian, and Elfynn.
A weekend adult ticket is priced at £79 or a kids (aged 12-16) weekend ticket is priced at £35, a family weekend (2 adults & 2 kids under 16) is priced at £168. A Friday day ticket is priced at £28.50 (kids £12), Saturday or Sunday is priced at £37 (kids £15).
