A new stage for Highland folk artistes has been announced for this summer's eighth Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, which takes place at Belladrum Estate, near Beauly in Inverness-shire, Scotland on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th August 2011.

The Free Range Folk Stage will feature on Friday a line-up including Blackrock Ceilidh Band, Dorec-a-Belle, Last Summer Effect, Adrian Telfer, Corralach, Graham Bell, Ghillie Dhu Folk Band, Alice Bentley, Ally McLeod & Donald Forbes, Corey Symonds, Lilian Ross, Malina MacDonald & Rory Campbell, and Jamie Reid.

Saturday's line-up will feature Ashleigh Mackay, The Maria Hall Band, RONA, Fiona McKenzie, Acoustic Reverb, Emily McKinnon, Waiting For Bruce, Sarah Jane Thomson, Malcolm Cumming, Graham Brown, and Megan Blyth.

Thanks to sponsorship from the Climate Challenge Fund, Highland Environmental Networks (HEN) will be bringing the Free Range Folk Stage to Bella as part of their presence in the new Hen Run area at the festival. The Hen Run will be positioned in a new arena space in the Walled Garden at the festival. It will feature exhibitions, information and displays on an environmental theme by members of Highland Environmental Network as well as music.

Festival promoter Joe Gibbs said, "We're very excited to have a new folk stage dedicated to Highland folk artistes at the event. We are also delighted to have HEN alongside us, helping us to put over environmentally aware messages to our audience."

Previously confirmed acts include headliners Texas, and Deacon Blue, plus Newton Faulkner, Frank Turner, Admiral Fallow, Little Comets, Dry The River, The Webb Sisters, and more. For the full details to-date, click here.

Tickets are priced at £90 for an adult weekend ticket which includes parking and camping. Campervans & caravan tickets priced at £30 have sold out. Children aged 12 and under are able to attend for free. Festival organisers have also announced that weekend camping (excluding caravans & camper vans) and Saturday camping tickets are still available but are going fast.

The camping/car parking passes are combined. When buying tickets purchasers must ensure they order the correct number of camping/car parking passes required. Purchasers require one pass per vehicle NOT per person. Festival goers will be directed to the camping area of their choice by the car parking pass they have ordered.
