Maximo Park to headline Ben & Jerry's in London & Manchester

Maximo Park top the line-up of the first acts announced for Ben & Jerry's Sundae, the ice cream themed weekend of music and entertainment taking place at Clapham Common, London, and for the first time Heaton Park, Manchester. Ben & Jerry's Sundae will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July 2011.

The headliners for Saturday in Manchester, or Sunday in London have been announced as Maximo Park. The line-up on that day will also include Gary Numan, The Duke & The King, Little Comets, and Sound Of Rum. The line-up for the other day has not yet been announced.

Tickets for Saturday in Manchester, or Sunday in London are on sale priced at £17, children aged 5 and under can attend the event FREE. All children 16 and under must be accompanied by an attending adult. Tickets for the other day at each site will go on sale once the acts are announced. Visitors to the festival can expect social activism, including fab Fairtrade activities, fun-fairground style attractions and even fresians! Additionally, as usual, the festival will be Climate Neutral, with a ticket donation given to charity.

There will also be the opportunity to sample Ben & Jerry's favourite flavours of ice cream.
