Faulkner has been busy in the studio working on the release of his third album and is thrilled to be celebrating with surf fans for 30 years of the Boardmasters.

Newton Faulkner adds in to an already Beach Sessions line-up that includes We Are The Ocean, Deaf Havana, Freeze The Atlantic, and Everything Burns on Wednesday, with Dub Pistols and Dancefloor Outlaws on Sunday.

Fatboy Slim and Klaxons headline, with other acts confirmed for the event which takes place over five days this year from Wednesday 10th to Sunday 14th August at a cliff-top location overlooking Watergate Bay, in Cornwall including Sub Focus, Bombay Bicycle Club, The King Blues, Maverick Sabre, Ben Howard, Breakage, Eliza Doolittle, Andy C, Scratch Perverts, Willy Mason, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Liam Bailey, Stereo MC's, and more across nine stages. The Relentless Boardmasters is held on three sites across Newquay offering action sports including surf, skate, bmx, plus daily live music acts and the music festival.

As a celebration of 30 years of surfing at Fistral Beach the event has upgraded its Men's ASP surf event to a 6 star event which will bring the best up and coming surfers on the planet. The date change also means the event no longer clashes with other high profile events across the World.

The event will commence Wednesday 10th August at the Fistral Site with the opening party and the first Beach Session. The trade village will not be open that day. The trade village including the Beach Bar will open Thursday 11th August until Sunday 14th August.

An adult weekend ticket for both days is priced at £65, and £85 with camping. Adult day tickets for Friday or Saturday are priced at £36. An adult Beach sessions ticket is priced at £15 for any one day.
