For those who missed out on Bella 2011 tickets or who just want to make sure of their 2012 tickets after this year's record early sell-out can buy adult weekend tickets from 9am on Thursday when tickets for the 2012 event go on sale.

Problems with ticket scammers in the lead-up to the 2011 event has meant that the bulk of 2012 will be sold as e-tickets which are considerably more difficult to scam.

Tickets will be in the form of E-tickets and a limited number of hard tickets. First 250 tickets will be held at this year's price of £90. Thereafter tickets will be £95 each (+ booking fee). Campervan/Caravan tickets and Child 12 & Under tickets will also be available, and eFestival will have links for you to buy them then.

Bella has sold out the last three years and in 2011 the festival sold out months before the event so fans are urged to buy early to avoid disappointment.

Festival promoter Joe Gibbs said, "We will still be issuing some hard tickets for mainly local outlets to sell but these will be very much in the minority this year. It's a shame that we have to concentrate on e-tickets because it limits the number of outlets we can use, but the dishonesty of a few unscrupulous characters has forced our hand. People should avoid buying off social networks, gumtree, ebay etc."

The independent festival has built a reputation for its eclectic line-ups, its offbeat non-musical entertainments and its all-ages approach.

Belladrum takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Belladrum Estate, near Beauly in Inverness-shire, Scotland. Music comes from over 90 acts across five stages featuring locally and internationally renowned artists and favouring a lo-fi approach. Now in it's ninth year the festival will take place on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th August 2012.
