Evolution Music Festival has announced today that it will return to Spiller's Wharf, Tyne & Wear on the Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th June 2012.

A crowd of 60,000 expected over the weekend for the outdoor shows on the Quayside that straddles Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012, a full line up announcement will be made in early 2012.

Organisers have announced a price freeze for 2012 with weekend tickets priced at £35, or £25 for a day ticket. On sale details will follow in early 2012, and eFestivals will let you know when they are confirmed.
