Calvin Harris is the second headliner to be confirmed for next year's Wakestock happening from Friday 6th until Sunday 8th July 2012, once again at Abersoch, North Wales.

The 'Bounce' Scottish producer, who last appeared at the festival in 2009, is the second act to be announced, with Ed Sheeran confirmed as a headliner.

Festival organisers have revealed, "We are stoked to be able to announce that Calvin Harris is the latest addition to the WS2012 line up. This man is at the top of his game and is something of a Wakestock favourite. Currently touring with racy Rihanna, he is going global and should go off at Wakestock this year."

There are no acts other confirmed yet for 2012, and more announcements about next year's music line-up and wakeboarding action will be made soon.

In other news, the WWA Rail Europeans will be returning to Wakestock's Pool Gap next summer, bringing some of the world's best rail riders to test their wakeboarding skills on one of the most legitimate rail set ups ever created in the sport, designed with a heavy skate and snow influence. Last summer's set up had 2 metal hand rails, each of which was less than 4 inches, and an incline rail.

Wakestock offers festival goers free-to-watch wakeboarding by day and music by night. The site overlooks Cardigan Bay and across to Snowdonia and has facilities to entertain over 10,000 people each night. It's right next to the beach, and as well as featuring a competition for the wakeboard title, there are live bands and DJ's to entertain, making for three days of sporting and live music action.

The tickets themselves won't be sent out until June next year, but those purchasing early bird tickets will receive a voucher confirming the booking which is ideal if the tickets are bought as a Christmas gift.

The limited number of 2012 Earlybird Festival tickets are available at 2011 prices. A weekend camping ticket will be priced at £125, a weekend ticket without camping will be priced at £100 with VIP options also available alongside car parking at £10, shuttle bus, Thursday night pre party tickets priced at £7.50 and locker tickets at 2011 prices.
