Sting to headline Henley Festival

first act announced for opening night of 30th anniversary

from £35 to £150 depending upon event

Sting has announced he will be the opening act at this summer's Henley Festival at Henley On Thames on Wednesday 4th July 2012.

An announcement on Sting's website. (here), says, "We are excited to announce that on July 4, Sting will perform at the 30th annual Henley Festival in Henley-on-Thames (just 90 minutes from London by train)! Sting will open the five-night festival with a performance featuring many of his greatest hits. Fan Club presales will begin at 10AM (local time) today. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, March 14."

Henley Festival is celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year with five nights of music, cabaret, street theatre, fine art and fine dining and fireworks from Wednesday 4th until Sunday 8th July 2012.

Ticket prices have not yet been announced and tickets Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, 14th March 14 2012.
