Guernsey Festival of Performing Arts organisers have announced American R&B soul songstress Macy Gray as the first of three main stage headliners.

She will be joined by two other headliners over the course of the two-day event now in its second year will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June 2012 at The Rabbit Warren, Victoria Avenue, St Sampson on Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

Also confirmed are King Charles, Kassidy, General Fiasco, Albert LeeLee and his band Hogan's Heroes, and Josh Kumra.

The Other Stage will host 2-Tone ska band The Selecter, Little Barrie, and Kitten and The Hip.

The Dance Stage will feature a live set from Dutch music production duo Mason, JFB, and Sir Spyro.

Also confirmed to appear over the weekend are Courage Have Courage , Raising Maisie, The Electric Stars, San Jyla, Dom DufF, Starseed, The Spindle Sect, In Tyler We Trust, Master and Dog, and Gregs Greats. With many more big acts yet to be announced.

Festival organiser Paul Stephen said, "Macy Gray is quite a coup and we're over the moon to have her confirmed to be one of the three big headliners. We are hugely excited about the strength of the line-up this year and feel we are really building on the success of last year's event. Many people don't realise the level of work that needs to go into booking artists and we will be announcing other performers in the near future."

A children's weekend ticket is priced at £25, juniors at £65 and adults at £85. There are also a limited number of VIP tickets available priced at £185 for the weekend. Day tickets are priced at £55 for adults, £40 for juniors, and £15 for children. Camping passes for the weekend are priced at £25. To buy tickets, click here .
