San Diego surf punks Wavves, acoustic genius Willis Earl Beal, Hooray For Earth, and SXSW sensations (and Tame Impala spin off) Pond lead the first acts announced for the multi-city, multi-venue Dot to Dot festival held over the Diamond Jubilee bank holiday weekend with tickets on sale now.

The latest acts for the triumvirate line-up at Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham will be joined on the bill by Neon Indian (Manchester only), Jake Bugg, The Rumour Said Fire, Beth Jeans Houghton, Islet, Patterns, Peace, Rae Morris, Random Impulse, Admiral Fallow, Bastille, Bondax, Clock Opera, Eyes on Film (Nottingham and Manchester only), Lulu James, Murray James, The Night, Scoundrels, Shinies(Manchester only), , Swiss Lips, and Turbowolf.

Dot To Dot Organiser Anton Lockwood said, "Our second announcement for Dot To Dot 2012 sees us welcome some of the most hotly tipped new acts in the world, including some stars of SXSW. This is what Dot To Dot is all about!"

These latest acts join joint co-headliners The Drums, and Pulled Apart By Horses, are Willy Mason, Dog Is Dead, Summer Camp, Lucy Rose, ThePetebox, Pearl And The Beard, The Wonder Villains, Vadoinmessico, Broken Hands, Deaf Club, and Dirty Goods, with more acts to be confirmed.

With hundreds of live acts and DJs and 16 hours of music each day Dot to Dot offers a unique experience for festival-goers and artists alike. The Festival showcases up and coming bands and DJs from the UK and beyond.

Dot To Dot Organiser Anton Lockwood commented, "More than ever Dot To Dot 2012 will see a great line up of exciting new music alongside the hottest live acts at the moment. Our first announcement of indie titans The Drums and fast rising rockers Pulled Apart by Horses sets the tone for Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester to each have a great day of fresh and exciting music!"

The Dot To Dot Festival will take place from Saturday 2nd to Monday 4th June 2012 in various venues. Bristol hosts the event on the Saturday, with a similar event the day after in Nottingham, and the Monday night is the turn of Manchester to play host.
