Echo and the Bunnymen, Roy Harper, and Steeleye Span have been confirmed as headliners for the seventh Moseley Folk Festival which takes place at Moseley Park, Birmingham from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September 2012.

Joining Echo and the Bunnymen on the main stage line-up on Friday are Guillemots, Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves Of Destiny, The Destroyers, and Abigail Washburn with Kai Welch.

Veteran British folk-rock troubadour Roy Harper lead a Saturday line-up of Jonathan Wilson, Julian Cope, Goodnight Lenin, Devon Sproule, Mickey Greaney, and Ellen and the Escapades.

Whilst closing the festival on Sunday will be Steeleye Span, with SPECIAL GUESTS (TBC), Merrymouth, Jackie Oates, Paul Murphy, Spiro, and Emily Portman Trio, and Dark Dark Dark.

On Friday The Lunar Stage hosts Richard James, Laura J Martin, The Gentle Good, and Golden Glass.

Saturday it's the turn of Lanterns on the Lake, Treetop Flyers, Rachel Sermanni, Revere, and The Terrapins. Whilst on Sunday Village Well, Jonny Kearney & Lucy Farrell, The False Beards, Telling the Bees, Rapunzel & Sedayne, and Sunjay Brayne all take to The Lunar stage.

The festival provides plenty of marquee cover, well-stocked real ale and scrumpy (cash) bars, plus fine food and refreshments, children's area with entertainment, hand powered fairground rides, face painting, music making workshops, and storytelling pirates, along with a new healing and workshop area nestling in the dell behind the fishermen's hut, more sessions and live music in and around the pubs of Moseley.

A weekend adult ticket is priced at £79, a kids (aged 12-15) weekend ticket is priced at £35, a family weekend (2 adults & 2 kids under 16) is priced at £168. A Friday day ticket is priced at £28.50 (kids £13), Saturday or Sunday is priced at £37 (kids £15). Children under 12 years old may enter for free with a paying adult.
