Also headed to North Wales this summer are Straight Lines, Ifan Dafydd, Al Lewis, Sen Segur, and Y Bandana.

If you are in a band and fancy playing at this year's festival, this week also sees the launch of the Wakestock Battle of the Bands competition..

There is still one slot free on this year's bill and organisers want to fill it with the hottest new Welsh talent. If you are a Welsh act and think you have got what it takes to open the stage at Wakestock, all you need to do is send your application through to info@wakestock.co.uk .

Entries should include a short biography of the band, links to some of your songs and some information about the gigs you have already played as a band. The team at Wakestock HQ will then prepare a short list of finalists and the final decision will be down to Radio Cymru DJ Lisa Gwilym.

Lisa will be judging a shortlist of ten bands from the entries received and will be selecting the winner of the Battle of the Bands Competition. The winning band will open the East Stage at the festival on Sunday 8th July.

Ed Sheeran will headline one of the nights, with Calvin Harris, and Dizzee Rascal also confirmed as headlining acts. Also announced are Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Jakwob, Goldierocks, Clement Marfo & the Frontline, Random Impulse, Disclosure, Rizzle Kicks, DJ Fresh, Katy B, Azealia Banks, Flux Pavilion, High Contrast feat Jessy Allen & Dynamite MC, Doctor P, Youngman, and Burns. Wakestock offers festival goers free-to-watch wakeboarding by day and music by night. It's right next to the beach, and as well as featuring a competition for the wakeboard title, there are live bands and DJ's to entertain, making for three days of sporting and live music action.

A weekend camping ticket is priced at £125, a weekend ticket without camping will be priced at £100 and a quiet camping option is also available priced at £130, alongside advance car parking at £10. Thursday night pre party tickets are priced at £10, a campervan pass £50, and a charge and store (locker) ticket £14.
