Five more additions have been confirmed for I'll Be Your Mirror.
On Saturday Irmin Schmidt & Jono Podmore present The music of Can. Whilst dismantling the Can studio, master tapes were found, and Can founder Irmin Schmidt and long time collaborator Jono Podmore have gone through over 30 hours of music and years of archived material, such as soundtracks to films that were never released and tracks that didn't make it onto the final versions of albums due to space. The final cut of tracks, dating from 1968-1977, features a line-up of Holger Czukay on bass, Michael Karoli on guitars, Jaki Liebezeit on drums and Irmin Schmidt on keyboards, and on most tracks, vocals from Malcolm Mooney or Damo Suzuki. In June, Mute will release a 3CD Box set of the tapes, and as a preview, Irmin Schmidt and Jono Podmore will present some of these tracks (accompanied by visuals and discussion) at the festival. Joining them on the Saturday bill are horror instrumentalists Umberto.
Whilst Sunday's latest additions see El-P replace Ultramagnetic MCs who have cancelled all European performances, and an appearance of Ben Power's Blanck Mass.
Friday Slayer will present their undisputed classic 'Reign In Blood' live in it's entirety during their headline set to celebrate it's 25th anniversary! Saturday curators Mogwai headline. Sunday is headlined by The Afghan Whigs (as Guided By Voices have split up). They will be joined by a full line-up of acts including Dirty Three, Codeine, Mudhoney, Chavez, Floor, The Make-Up, Death Grips, Aidan Moffat & Bill Wells, Harvey Milk, The Soft Moon, Antoni Maiovvi, Sleepy Sun, Tennis, Tall Firs, Forest Swords, Balam Acab, Sleep, Mevlins, Wolves in the Throne Room, Yob, Archers of Loaf, Thee Oh Sees, Yuck, Demdike Stare, and Siskiyou.
