extra Elbow tickets to go on sale for Live from Jodrell Bank

At 9am on Tuesday, 12th June a very limited number of tickets will go on sale for Elbow's 'Transmission' show on Saturday 23rd June in front of the iconic Lovell Telescope as part of Live From Jodrell Bank.

Each day is a separate event, individually ticketed with no camping on offer. Elbow will be joined by Field Music, Cherry Ghost, Lianne La Havas and Willy Mason for Transmission 002.

When tickets were put on sale initially they sold out in a remarkable 90 minutes so this is great news for fans who missed out first time around.

Tickets for the Paul Weller headlined Transmission 003 the following day are selling fast and early booking is advised for a show that features a fine supporting cast including Graham Coxon, Gomez, Baxter Dury, Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club, Little Barrie and Jake Evans.

As well as providing an amazing backdrop the telescope will also be serving a secondary purpose as the worlds most incredible projection screen! Throughout the day there will be experiments and workshops along with free access to the visitor centre – and in the evening the acts will perform.

Tickets are priced at £35 for either day, for Elbow tickets eFestivals will have links available next Tuesday.

The Jodrell Bank team stress the importance of getting to and from the event and highlight the following information. Please remember that Jodrell Bank is in a rural location so you need to think about how you will be travelling to the venue and getting home too! There are only a handful of car park tickets left available, these must be purchased in advance and can be bought from Ticketline.
