Folk by the Oak announce Jim Moray as their festival patron

Jim Moray has been announced as Festival Patron at this summer's Folk by the Oak.

As a past performer and long term supporter of Folk by the Oak. Jim will be mc-ing at the festival on the main stage, and will also be broadcasting live podcasts between sets. Festival Director Adam Slough said, "We are really pleased to bring Jim's enthusiasm and knowledge to the day."

He will present an award-winning line-up headlined by Show of Hands, along with The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Cara Dillon, Chris Wood, Breabach, Nancy Kerr & James Fagan and Emily Barker & the Red Clay Halo at the one day folk festival for 5,000, now in its fifth year, set in the grounds of Hatfield House in Hertfordshire happening on Sunday 22nd July 2012.

In addition to the musical programme of contemporary folk and acoustic artists the family friendly event offers a craft fair, workshops, children's activities, storytelling, circus skills, real ale bar, music stalls, recycled gifts and a selection of tasty produce and a real ale bar on site.

Tickets are priced at £34 per adult. A child aged 5-15 years ticket is priced at £16 (age 4 and under are free, and do not require a ticket).
