Skindred to headline Wales' Merthyr Rock

Saturday headliners Skindred lead the latest acts to be announced for Merthyr Rock festival happening over the three days from Friday 31st August until Sunday 2nd September returning to Cyfarthfa Park, Merthyr Tydfil, Wales.

Merthyr Rock is back for its second year with Lower Than Atlantis, Futures, We Are The Ocean, Exit Ten, Future Of The Left, Straight Lines, Shadows Chasing Ghosts, Reaper In Sicily, Dead Wretched, The People The Poet, The Lash, and The Undivided newly announced.

Benji Webbe of Skindred said, "Merthyr Rock is amazing! Skindred are very excited to come and rock this spot again...this year's gonna be the one."

The first acts confirmed were Friday headliners Razorlight, and Sunday's closing act Kids in Glass Houses, also confirmed are Deaf Havana, Saves The Day, Yashin, and Arcane Roots, expect stages showcasing established acts alongside new talent.

There will be loads of on-site extras, which will be announced across the summer. The festival will take place in a tented village to ensure that whatever the South Wales weather may be, the audience will stay dry.

A special weekend early bird ticket priced at £55 (until noon Monday 2nd July). Other ticket information including day tickets will be announced soon. Camping at Grawen Farm is £15 per person, for 3 nights (Fri, Sat, Sun).
