eFestivals believes that 10 years after they first headlined Iron Maiden will be confirmed this week as headliners of the 11th Download Festival which happens at Donington Park over the weekend of Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June 2013.

Iron Maiden
British rockers Iron Maiden are also expected to reissue their 'Maiden England' video released in 1988 next year. The band toured North America this summer on a trek billed as 'Maiden England' after their 80s era concert video release and the 2012 live show closely mirrored the original 1988 production and content of the video shot during the 'Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son Tour'. It's not known if it will be this show they'll bring to Download, but we should find out in the next week.

Download has no confirmed acts yet for 2013, but we believe the first one will be named as Iron Maiden who have previously headlined in 2003, and in 2007.
