According to Hot Press, (here), Vince Power is to buy back his Spanish music festival International Benicàssim Festival, from the administrators of his former company.

The website is reporting that the festival boss whose company Music Festival PLC saw its shares suspended least month, (news here), has agreed a deal with the administrators Anthony Davidson and Stephen Ryman to buy the Spanish festival through Power's All Music Live Ltd.

The article quotes that Power said, "I'm delighted that we have entered into an agreement to acquire the shares of Benicassim Ltd that has secured the future of the festival."

There is no news as yet on whether Vince Power will also move for Music Festival PLC's other festival ventures - The Hop Farm Music Festival, Feis Festival in Finsbury Park, or Costa de Fuego in Spain.

There are no acts confirmed yet for Benicassim 2013.

As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival has an extensive bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.

Established in 1994, next year will be its 19th year, the International Benicàssim Festival, FIB Heineken, near Valencia, Spain is back for 2013 from Thursday 18th until Sunday 21st July. With camping thrown in with the ticket price, all night music over 4 days, and sited just walking distance from the beach and a huge water park.

Early bird 4-day tickets are priced at 125 euros (including camping).
