Ireland's Oxegen to return this summer

Denis Desmond the boss of promoters MCD has revealed that Oxegen, Ireland's annual day multi-stage music festival weekend will be returning to the festival calendar, and to it's usual home at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Ireland.

In 2011 MCD confirmed that the festival would be taking a break next year in a similar manner to Glastonbury Festival, and will be making a return in 2013, and so it has, although this time as a two day event moving to the August bank holiday weekend on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August 2013.

No ticket prices or line-up have not yet been announced, and eFestivals will bring you more news once it's available..

The biggest music event in Ireland with a capacity of 80,000, Oxegen (formerly known as Wittness Festival) has since 2004 hosted many of the big names in contemporary music.
