As part of the forestry commission's Forest Tour, Jools Holland and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra will be appearing at Westonbirt Arboretum, in Gloucestershire on Sunday 21st July.

Jools Holland has had a prolific recording career which has run in tandem with highly successful roles in broadcasting. Together with his 20-piece Rhythm & Blues Orchestra consisting of pianist, organist, drummer, three female vocals, guitar, bass guitar, two tenor saxophones, two alto saxophones, baritone saxophone, three trumpets, and four trombones he creates unique interpretations of original works playing to audiences in excess of 300,000 every year.

Jools and his orchestra are currently experiencing chart success with their latest album release, '‘The Golden Age Of Song'’ a collection of new recordings of classic songs and live recordings from the BBC 2 TV Show ‘Jools’ Annual Hootenanny’.

Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra featuring Gilson Lavis, will be joined by special guests Roland Gift, Ruby Turner, and Louise Marshall.

Tickets are priced at £37, and go on sale at 9am this Friday, 15th February, and eFestivals will have links for you to buy them then.

Income generated from Forest Live ticket sales is spent on caring for this internationally important tree collection and improving Westonbirt Arboretum for both people and wildlife. Forest Live concerts are renowned for their safe and relaxed atmosphere in fantastic woodland settings.
