Van Morrison (Pyramid Stage, Sunday)
Van the Man, who headlined HebCelt in 2005, will perform a collection of classics from a 50-year career as well as songs from his latest album 'Born to Sing: No Plan B' alongside classics including 'Brown Eyed Girl', 'Moondance', and 'Tupelo Honey'.

Morrison said, "My music has been influenced by the Celtic tradition and I find it inspiring to go back to the places where that tradition is still strong. My visit to HebCelt in 2005 is one I remember with great fondness and I have wanted to return to the islands for some time. So I am delighted to be able to take up the invitation this year and look forward to playing at this festival which is so highly regarded among musicians."

A number of other artists are also confirmed tol be appearing at this year's festival, they are Anglo-Scottish trio Lau, Scottish singer songwriter Karine Polwart, Manchester's The Travelling Band, Glasgow-based Fatherson, Orcadian eight-piece The Chair, and Welsh bluegrass band Rusty Shackle.

They join a bill that will include the previously announced Dougie MacLean and The MacLean Project, Battlefield Band, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, and The Hot Seats.

Many complementary events are also hosted by community groups around Stornaway and the islands of Lewis and Harris catering for a variety of tastes both musical and otherwise. There are also workshops often given by many of the festival's performers, which includes masterclass sessions. Also included are the ever popular Gaelic language tasters, lectures and children's entertainment plus numerous pub sessions in Stornoway and the surrounding area. As well as the music there's also a full programme of family entertainment, as well as a street arts programme with walkabout, workshops and fire shows.

A ticket is priced at £70 for the four days (£55 for concession and £15 for children under 14).
