Dinosaur Jr, and Warpaint have been confirmed for this summer's End Of The Road both as UK festival exclusives.
The dates for End of the Road 2013 which happens at Larmer Tree Gardens, Tollard Royal, Salisbury, in Wiltshire are confirmed as Friday 30th to Sunday 1st September.
There are four main stages, as well as a comedy and a cinema tent. This is a festival for music lovers, well technically a particular brand of music lover, those flavoured with indie, Americana, and folk. The audience are genuinely interested in listening to the acts, it's an old school festival with no gimmicks, no commercialism (properly none), and very few fancy dress costumes. Festival goers at both events can expect ales, Somerset Cider Bus, food, cutting edge film, comedy, children's entertainments, a chance to make, do and discover.
Already confirmed are Headliners are David Byrne & St Vincent, Sigur Ros, and Belle & Sebastian, plus Bo Ningen, Efterklang, Golden Fable, Frightened Rabbit, Daughter, Palma Violets, Angel Olsen, Damien Jurado, The Barr Brothers, Pokey LaFarge, Serafina Steer, Horse Thief, John Murry, King Khan & The Shrines, Strand of Oaks, Diana Jones, Evening Hymns, Laish, Jens Lekman, Marika Hackman, Heartless Bastards, Merchandise, Money, PINS, Polica, Matthew E. White, Mark Mulcahy, Caitlin Rose, Savages, Teleman, Wolf Alice, Widowspeak, and Woodpecker Wooliams.
An adult ticket is priced at £165 including camping. A youth (ages 13-17 years who must be accompanied by an adult) ticket is priced at £125, a ticket for children aged 6-12 years (must be accompanied by an adult) is priced at £50, with free entry for a child aged 5 years, and under, they still need tickets can be purchased in advance. Tickets for a campervan/caravan pass are priced at £50, and car parking is priced at £5.
