The plans for two more of Glastonbury's late-night entertainment areas have been revealed to follow those of the Shangri-La and Arcadia areas.

First up radical set designers Block9 are back in a new location (to be announced) and the duo's new field will open from sunset to sunrise offering huge art installations housing heavyweight soundsystems, underground nightclubs, bars, and some extremely alternative performances.

This year sees the arrival of their Genosys outdoor arena which will, "explore the birth of electronic dance music and the legacy of its pioneers. Blurring the boundaries between art and music, sound and light, Genosys pays homage to the pre-digital dance floor."

The Genosys, short for Generated Oxygen System, is a concrete and glass cross between a giant oak tree and aconcrete megastructure built to save the once poisoned planet. It nurtured and preserved plant life within its huge tanks and, as it drank in the excess atmospheric carbon, it poured out fresh oxygen.

The first acts confirmed for the ambitious audiovisual hybrid include Chicago veteran DJs Gene Hunt, and Tyree Cooper, alongside Greg Wilson, and Bicep.

Making a return for it's third year, is TheLondon Underground with the iconic tube train bursting from the 5th floor of a 50ft decaying tower block housing a nightclub venue showcasing London's soundsystem culture with a line-up of DJs including Grant Nelson, Mosca, Randall, and Digital & Spirit.

Plus, returning for a 7th year now is the disco, soul, funk and porn moustaches of NYC Downlowa life-size ruin of an New York City tenement featuring live bands and debauchery including Kerri Chandler, Robert Owens, Horse Meat Disco, My Love Is Underground, and DIY.

Also returning in 2013, after it's arrival in 2010 is The Common home to bustling music venues, urban circus, late night bars, and a range of intimate sideshows. The area has been home to a Wall of Death with vintage Indian motorcycles; Bassline Circus; The Old Curiosity Shop; after-hours gatherings; Medicine Sans Frontiers: and Campo Pequeno. Although the only venues so far confirmed are the crazy Carny folk home of Copperdollar, the fading Cuban cinema The Lost Picture Show, and the sumptuous boudoir of a 19th Century Havana bordello Los Artistas Bohemios.

According to organisers this year sees, "The Common follow on from its Latin American theme of 2011, but delving deeper into Central America and the tribes and folklore of the tropical rain forest. A lost civilisation mysteriously appears, once the most advanced in the world, now decayed and abandoned, the forest reclaiming the buildings and temples that once stood proud.

" Somewhere between Mexico City and Salvador, the mystical world of The Common has been awakened... A sumptuous Latino playground, come and explore........"
