Polica, Nik Colk Void, and Daughter have been announced as support acts for Sigur Ros headlining Live From Jodrell Bank's Transmission 004.

Daughter
Sigur Rós will bring their ambient / post rock songs from their catalogue of 6 studio albums to immerse the audience and venue in their cinematic soundscapes on Friday 30th August having moved later in the calendar than the usual June dates.

As well as providing an amazing backdrop the telescope will also be serving a secondary purpose as the worlds most incredible projection screen! Throughout the day there will be experiments and workshops along with free access to the visitor centre – and in the evening the acts will perform.

Other shows taking place in 2013 as part of the Live From Jodrell Bank series include New Order curating an exclusive show with Johnny Marr, The Whip, Jake Evans and Hot Vestry and The Australian Pink Floyd who perform a celebration show to mark the 40th Anniversary of the release of the seminal Pink Floyd album, The Dark Side Of The Moon.
