The Great Escape which takes place at venues all over Brighton from Thursday 16th until Saturday 18th May has announced 57 more acts including Everything Everything.

Everything Everything
Having already performed at The Great Escape in 2010, the Manchester band will be one of the acts to appear at The Dome in Brighton, the third of the 2013 Dome Shows to be announced, their show will happen on the opening night. To gain access to a Brighton Dome Show, the others being Billy Bragg, and Bastille, attendees can top up their festival wristband for only £7 per show. Tickets for the Bastille show have sold out.

Other acts newly announced are A.M.E, Aliment, Ain't No Love, Andreya Triana, Anushka, Beau, The Black Atlantic, Balthazar, Big Deal, Bo Bruce, Coach Station Reunion, Cheatahs, Chloe Howl, Chris Cohen, Deap Vally, Eaux, Ewert and the Two Dragons, Enchanted Hunters, Endian, Evelinn Trouble, Girls Names, Glass Animals, Honningbarna, Jenny Hval, Jake Isaac, and JC Satan.

Also heading for the Brighton bash will be Klaxons, Last Night In Paris, Lulu James, L'Hereu Escampa, Mark E, Mary Epworth, Moxie, Nadine Shah, Oddisee, Palm Reader, Peter Kernel, PS I Love You, Pictorial Candi, RDGLDGRN, Roosevelt, Sean Nicholas Savage, Sega Bodega, Saint Raymond, Sons And Lovers, Spencer, The Blackout, The KDMS, The Physics House Band, The Rumour Said Fire, Trevino, Tribes, We Were Evergreen, The Nextmen, Velvet Two Stripes, and Za!.

They join a line-up that includes at The Dome will be Bastille and Billy Bragg. It's also possible to book accommodation early at The Great Escape's official hostel partner Journeys, for £45 a bed a night.

The venues are all a close walk from each other with each venue equipped to an international showcase standard. This year's partner country has not yet been confirmed.

As well as the live music, there's also a number of "Parkinson" style interviews with luminaries from the world of Music and Media, to show the way in which success is achieved, as well as educational panels, workshops and networking sessions.

The Alternative Escape will be returning to TGE once again now larger than ever before, taking in over 20 additional venues to the core TGE programme. The Alternative Escape allows promoters, media partners, record labels and anyone else interested in promoting live music to host their own creative showcases as part of the wider Great Escape Festival.
