The wait is over the line-up has been announced for this summer's Glastonbury Festival which runs for five full days from Wednesday 26th June until Monday 1st July 2013 across over a 1,000 hectares (2,470 acres) of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset.

Mumford & Sons
After months of speculation the The Rolling Stones will be making a headlining appearance at this summer's Festival, with Arctic Monkeys topping the bill on Friday, and Mumford & Sons
closing the main Pyramid Stage on Sunday.

Rumours have been rife since June last year, (here), that the Rolling Stones would make their appearance this summer after they returned to the stage late last year to celebrate 50 years in business.

The band have only ever performed at a few festivals over their 50 years, and the last UK festivals they have performed at were The Isle Of Wight in 2007 and Knebworth Fair in 1976.

Resales of unwanted tickets will take place on Sunday 21st April 2013, for those who have registered beforehand so that they are eligible to buy a ticket.

UK ticket balances will be payable next week, following the Easter Weekend, from 09:00 Tuesday 2nd April until 23:59 Monday 8th April, when there will also be options to book everything else needed (tipis, campervan tickets, parking, cancellation protection).

The balance due is £155 (plus a £5 booking fee) per person; plus a £6 transaction fee per order. Whilst paying balances there's the option of booking ticket cancellation cover, car park tickets, campervan tickets and tipis, as well as the option to book coach travel from a number of UK cities, and pre-erected offsite accommodation at Worthy View.

Those balances not paid by Monday 8th April 8th will be cancelled and a £40 refund per ticket returned to the card that was used during the booking. A £10 admin fee will be retained.

Registration will be temporarily suspended before and during the main ticket selling period, so you must register before tickets go on sale.

Everyone aged over 12 on Wednesday 26th June 2013 (when the Festival starts) who plans to the come the Festival, must register. Children aged 12 and under do not require tickets and do not need to register.

Registration requires providing basic contact details and uploading a passport-standard photo. Once the photo has been approved, registers are sent a unique registration number that will need to be quoted to book a ticket.

Registration does not reserve or guarantee you a ticket when they go on sale, but if you don't register you will not be able to buy a weekend ticket for Glastonbury Festival 2013.
