Jason Mraz for Northern Ireland's Tennent's Vital

US singer and songwriter Jason Mraz has been added to the bill for the second day of Tennent's Vital.

Jason Mraz's hit 'I'm Yours' (from the multi-platinum 'We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things') has now surpassed 21 million sales worldwide and set a record for the longest-running song in the 51-year history of America's Billboard's singles chart racking up 76 weeks. He'll be singing that, along with songs from his fourth studio album 'Love is a Four Letter Word', and hits including 'I Won't Give Up', 'Make It Mine' and 'Lucky' at Tennent’s Vital this August.

The announcement comes the day after organisers confirmed Snow Patrol as headliners of Day 2 of Tennent's Vital. Speaking about the gig, Snow Patrol singer Gary Lightbody said: "We are delighted to be playing the Tennent's Vital festival and playing once more in our home city of Belfast. The Belfast crowd is the best in the world. Can't wait for the 15th of August."

The Thursday headlining appearance will be a massive homecoming show for the band, who played the very first Tennent's Vital back in 2002 (and headlined in 2006). Tickets for Snow Patrol with guests Jason Mraz, Kodaline, and Foy Vance are priced at £44.50 incl booking fee and go on sale at 10am on Friday 17th May, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

They join Kings of Leon and an as yet unannounced full supporting bill at the Northern Ireland event which will take place on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th August 2013, at Boucher Road Playing Fields, in Belfast.

Tennent's Vital is an over 16's event. However, a parent aged 25 and over can take up to two under 16's to the show. Parents will be required to show age identification.
